Ditubuhkan sebagai medium perantara di antara para pelajar Multimedia University dan para remaja dengan Kementerian Belia & Sukan Malaysia. Berkonsepkan dasar kerjasama antara Kementerian Belia dan Sukan melalui Bahagian Pembangunan Rakan Muda dan Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi melalui IPTA dan IPTS manakala penyertaan dan penglibatan daripada mahasiswa di Multimedia University. Sekretariat ini bert

indak sebagai agen perantara yang berkesan terutamanya bagi membantu para pelajar terus aktif di dalam program Rakan Muda termasuk aspek kesukarelaan apabila tamat pengajian kelak serta menggunakan pengalaman dan pengetahuan yang diperolehi untuk memimpin dan membimbing para belia yang lain secara menyeluruh. Golongan intelek IPT merupakan pemangkin kepada kemajuan Negara di mana mereka memainkan peranan penting dalam proses pembangunan negara dan masyarakat. Nilai peribadi dari segi aspek jati dan sahsiah yang baik dikalangan para pelajar merupakan tunjang kepada kejayaan diri, keluarga, masyarakat dan negara.
