Protective security can no longer be treated in isolation. Knowledge on protective security has developed and essentially turned into a wide-ranging strategy via science and technology set to be effective and operative, Protective security is at the core of security science development, which offers comprehensive knowledge on leading edge security management, security principles and technologies,
and other related fields with the central theme of security risk and risk management. In light of the need to provide comprehensive knowledge and training in this field, the Centre for IT Advancement (CITA), International Islamic University Malaysia proudly offers an Executive Master Programme, Master of Protective Security Management (MPSM). This program is designed especially for security officers, in a wide range of security areas such as Physical Security, Cyber Security (Information Security, ICT Security), Document Security and/or Personnel / Human Security. Our existing students are officers and personnel of the Chief of Government Security Office (CGSO or KPKK), Prime Minister Department, officers of State Government Security Offices and Department Security Offices, security companies, corporate organizations especially those organizations dealing with critical infrastructures and key installations.
