🌏🤝 UKM Strengthens Collaboration with GBS Malaysia at GBS ASEAN Summit 2025
Today, at the GBS ASEAN Summit 2025 themed “Unleashing GBS 5.0: Human-Centric, AI-Driven, Impact-Focused”, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and GBS Malaysia marked a significant milestone through a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) Exchange focusing on talent development and academic–industry collaboration in the Global Business Services (GBS) ecosystem.
The MoA Exchange, witnessed by YB Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital, reflects Malaysia’s strong commitment to developing future-ready digital talent and positioning ASEAN as a global hub for sustainable, human-centric GBS innovation.
The event was attended by myself, Prof. Dr. Aini Aman (former Dean, Faculty of Economics and Management – FEP and founder of GloBDE) together with Associate Prof. Dr. Hakimi (Deputy Dean, FEP), and Dr. Soliha and Dr. Hafizah from the Centre of Global Business and Digital Economy (GloBDE), representing UKM in strengthening our partnership with GBS Malaysia.
Representing UKM on the panel “ASEAN GBS Ecosystems – Collaborate to Scale, Compete to Excel,” Dr. Masrina Nadia Mohd Salleh from GloBDE emphasized the critical role of university–industry collaboration in building an adaptive, innovative, and impact-driven workforce.
Together, UKM and GBS Malaysia are championing the GBS 5.0 vision – balancing technology, talent and trust for ASEAN’s digital future. 🚀
