Honestly, it's been quite a humbling ride lately. Serving as a Leadership Group member for the TEASunrise UKRI project (Southeast Asia) while juggling my duties as SERI Director at UKM reminds me daily that I'm not just leading, I'm learning...
I'm truly grateful for the trust placed in me, but I'll be the first to admit there's still so much more to discover, especially in Next Generation Solar and Circular Economy. My biggest hope? To grow our current work into initiatives that truly benefit our communities, industries, and nation.
Spending these past few days with our brilliant collaborators from Swansea, Cambridge, Oxford, Nottingham Trent, Nottingham, and Trinity College Dublin has been nothing short of inspiring. Their insights and warmth really opened my mind and re-energised my passion. To all my friends and mentors there, thank you for always pushing me forward.
May Allah ease every step of this challenging, yet deeply rewarding, journey for all of us. 🤲

Congratulation to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suhaila as the Winner for ASEAN Pitching Competition at Cambodia under the category Sustainable Energy Solution.

Dr Suhaila represented Malaysia Women Scientist in 2nd ASEAN- India Women Scientist Conclave, 8-10 July 2026 at Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
