As work arrangements evolve, balancing productivity and flexibility in working from home (WFH) remains a key consideration for organisations and employees.

While flexibility offers greater autonomy, it also brings expectations around performance, discipline, and accountability.

Dr Mohd Herry Bahador, from the UTP Department of Management, will be featured on Selamat Pagi Malaysia (RTM), sharing insights on “Productivity vs Flexibility in Working from Home (WFH)”, including its impact on performance, key challenges, and the role of employers in supporting effective work arrangements.

The discussion draws on his background in business management, particularly employee workload, job performance, and organisational behaviour, as well as his published work on the implications of workload on employee performance.

UTP Pride | IEM Gold Medal Award

Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS proudly congratulates Ang Yi Herng, recipient of the prestigious Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) Gold Medal Award.

A graduate of Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Ang is currently serving as Executive (Instrument), Maintenance Technical Support at Gas Processing Kerteh (GPK), PETRONAS Gas Berhad — an excellent start to a promising engineering career.

The award was presented at the 67th IEM Annual Dinner and Awards Night, held on 18 April 2026 at Sunway Resort Hotel.
