The Unit for Instructional Development and Multimedia,formerly known as Multimedia and Resource Centre is headed by the Multimedia and Resource Officer 1 (MARO) and assisted by Multimedia and Resource Officer II (MARO). The unit is also staffed by a Senior Technician, a technician and a Junior General Assistant. The centre has a graphic studio (also functioning as analog and digital audio video ed

iting and recording studio), a mini archieve cm meeting room, a seminar room with 75 seating capacity equipped with audio-visual facilities, a photography room which includes a dark room for photograph procesing, a multi-purpose studio and a printing room equipped with medium scale printing facilities. The facilities available are:

>> A graphic studio (also functions as an analogue and difital audio video editing and recording studio)
>> A mini archive cm meeting room
>> A 75-seat seminar room equipped with audio visual facilities
>> A photography room which includes a dark room for photograph processing
>> A multipurpose studio
>> A printing room equipped with medium scale printing facilities



Among the services provided by the centre are :

>> Setting up of audio visual equipment
>> Video production
>> Video editing (analog and digital)
>> Multimedia applications development
>> Graphics reporduction
>> Printed media publication and printing facilities
>> Presentation and seminar facilities
>> Mini archive (video tapes / VCDs/DVDs of events recorded at the Polytechnic and printed publications are kept here )
>> Broadcasting of Infochannle/TV PSP
