The session “Navigating Your First Career Steps” was successfully held on 18 May 2026 at NMES Lab, FAIE, with around 70 students participating. The programme was officiated by Dr. Abby Ashraff, FOM Deputy Dean.

Organized through the BIYA programme and Structured iCadet student Mr. Amir Ikhwan under the guidance of Ms. Fatin Zaida, the session featured representatives from Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad sharing insights on resume writing, interview preparation, and employability skills.

The session provided students with valuable industry exposure and strengthened their career readiness.

Knowledge Transfer Program (KTP) 2026 | SMK Cyberjaya

On 18 & 19 May 2026, we successfully conducted a two-day Knowledge Transfer Program (KTP) at SMK Cyberjaya.

Day 1 featured the module Capacity Building in Stress Management and Emotional Resilience for School–University Communities, focusing on emotional well-being and stress management.

Day 2 continued with Technology-Enabled Financial Resilience, highlighting financial awareness and digital financial literacy in today’s technology-driven environment.

Special thanks to project leaders: Ms. Fatin Zaida & Ms. Nurul Atiah and team members: Dr. Azrena, Ms. Sharifah Ummu Naqiah, Dr. Afif, and Ms. Putri Nurul 'Aaina for the initiative and contributions in making this program meaningful and impactful.

The Faculty of Management (FOM), Multimedia University successfully hosted the Bachelor in Marketing (Honours) External Examiner (EE) Panel Visit on 14 May 2026, featuring Dr Zurina Mohaidin as part of its ongoing quality assurance and programme enhancement initiatives.

Led by the BiM Programme Coordinator, Ms. Yap Yee Yann, the session was officiated with opening remarks by Professor Dr Tan Booi Chen, Dean of FOM. The visit focused on reviewing the programme curriculum, with discussions on academic relevance, industry alignment, and feedback gathered from both students and lecturers.

Dr Zurina also delivered a talk titled “Did Consumers Really Choose? Rethinking Decision Making in Marketing”, attended by more than 70 students, offering practical perspectives on consumer behaviour and decision-making psychology.

The session reflects FOM’s strong commitment to continuous quality improvement and delivering an industry-relevant marketing programme, supported by the Deputy Deans, Ms. Fatin Zaida, the FOM administrative team, and Bachelor of Marketing (Honours) lecturers.
