We are seeking for artists, designers, and musicians to send through an artwork for a projection mapping at KongsiKL on 16th to 29th November 2020.
Organised by Filamen and supported by Cendana, in partnership with KongsiKL and NWCN, we will bring the technological world and the creative use of video mapping to fit with the following brief and theme:
UNITY is a flipped three-dimensional triangular structure, which surfaces to display different projection mappings by multimedia artists from all around the region of Southeast Asia.
Upon submitting their proposal through an open call and passing a curatorial process, successful applicants will have their artwork shown alternately during a certain period of time.
This structure will serve as a tool to bridge individuals of different backgrounds, styles and views, into one project.
A monument of unity.
Our goal is to connect artists and creative players from different countries in the region, and bring digital art to the community, making it accessible to everyone.
The applicant(s) may choose to participate in either group or individual. At the final stage, only twenty (20) applicants will be chosen to project their 60-second video which will be on a loop from 16th to 29th November 2020.
No entry fee is required. REGISTRATION ENDS 10th September 2020.
