University of Cyberjaya University of Cyberjaya (UoC) is a top-tier university in Malaysia as reflected in the latest QS Rankings which accorded UoC a 5-star rating.

The University is also ranked Competitive (Berdaya Saing) by the Ministry of Higher Education’s SETARA ratings. Established in 2005 and with an investment of almost RM200 million, the university is located in Cyberjaya, Malaysia’s first smart city, on a 5-acre, modern, fully equipped, green-friendly campus. The campus is surrounded by lush greeneries and provides a serene backdrop for a conducive

environment for student living and learning. In addition to an overall rating of 5 stars by QS, the University also received 5 stars for specific categories. These are all for 5-stars for Teaching, Employability, Academic Development, Internationalisation, Facilities, Social Responsibility, Inclusiveness, and Specialist Criteria (MBBS). Known for its rigorous and independent data collection and analysis, this recognition by the QS Stars programme has been even more significant. The University is also currently ranked in the top 401+ under the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2023. UoC now offers more than 50 programmes, including undergraduate, postgraduate-taught and postgraduate-research programmes across a wide set of disciplines. These include medicine, health sciences, nursing, pharmaceutical sciences, education, psychology, mass communications physiotherapy, homoeopathic medical sciences, business and IT and biomedical technology engineering among others. The University, together with its affiliated institutions currently have a student population of over 7,000 and has produced more than 12,000 successful graduates.

An evening of spiritual awareness, reflection, and growth 🌙✨

Organised by the Elite Cyberjaya Huffaz Organisation (ECHO), Spiritual Talk Series (SPIRE) 2.0 was held at the University of Cyberjaya to strengthen spiritual awareness, emotional resilience, and Islamic values among students, while promoting balance in academic and personal life.

The programme featured an insightful talk and Q&A session by Muhammad Zulhusni Bin Mohd Zaki () motivational speaker, IIUM graduate, and researcher at Zikra. My, shared practical guidance on motivation, study habits, and maintaining inner peace in university life.

The event also brought together lecturers, staff, and invited students from Maahad Ihya’ Al-Ahmadi, Banting, fostering meaningful connection and shared learning within the UOC community.

SPIRE 2.0 reflects ECHO’s vision to nurture spiritually grounded and purpose-driven students, contributing positively to the University of Cyberjaya environment 🤍

This event celebrated the true strength of UoC, our alumni community. From healthcare and psychology to engineering, IT, and occupational safety & health, our alumni returned not just as guests, but as leaders, professionals, and role models shaping industries and communities worldwide.

In education, sacrifice takes many form such as late nights of studying, stepping out of comfort zones, and staying disciplined when it’s easier to give up. University of Cyberjaya was honoured to host the Delegation from the Republic of Seychelles in a high-level Engagement Session organised by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Seychelles in Malaysia.

The visit reinforced bilateral cooperation in higher education, focusing on governance, quality assurance, and talent development within Malaysia’s tertiary education system. Cultural Day 2026, organised by the Indian Cultural Society (ICS) at the University of Cyberjaya, was a distinguished celebration of cultural diversity, unity, and creativity 🌍✨

The event underscored the importance of cultural awareness, inclusivity, and appreciation of diverse traditions within the student community. The evening commenced with the Kuthuvilakku lighting ceremony, followed by a series of cultural performances, fusion showcases, competitions, and award presentations that highlighted artistic excellence.
