1.    It is compulsory to register for joining the workshop at least three (3) days before the workshop.
2.    Please refer to the guidelines in IPS website > Current Student > Workshop, or scan the QR code.
3.    IPS will send a notification/invitation to you via student’s email at least 1 day before the workshop.

📢 RENEWAL REGISTRATION SEMESTER 1, 2026/2027

Attention, USM postgraduate students! 🎓

Renewal Registration for Semester 1, Academic Session 2026/2027 is now open from 5 August 2026.

Please complete your renewal registration by 28 September 2026 to avoid a late registration penalty.

🗓️ IMPORTANT DATES

🔹 5 Aug 2026 — Renewal Registration opens
🔹 28 Sept 2026 — Renewal Registration deadline
🔹 29 Sept – 11 Oct 2026 — Late Registration with penalty
💰 RM200 (Local) / USD50 (International)
🔹 12 Oct 2026 — System closes

📌 POSTPONEMENT OF STUDIES
Students intending to postpone their studies for Semester 1, 2026/2027 must submit their application through Campus Online by 11 October 2026.

📌 RESEARCH MODE STUDENTS
• Tuition fees will continue to be charged until the complete submission of the draft thesis.
• Submission of the Progress Report is compulsory every semester until completion of studies.
• Students without courses to register are also required to apply for postponement if they wish to postpone their studies.

📌 EPF WITHDRAWAL
Students intending to apply for EPF withdrawal must submit their application through the EPF website by 14 September 2026.
Please ensure your renewal registration has been successfully confirmed in ORSPG before submitting your EPF application.

⚠️ Please complete all registration requirements before the stipulated deadlines to avoid any issues with your candidature.

The Student Representative Council of the Institute of Postgraduate Studies (IPS) expresses our deepest condolences to Muhammad Nurfirdaus bin Norrashid on the passing of his beloved mother on 20 April 2026.

MPP IPS is gathering feedback from postgraduate students affected by the Block H12 directive.

H12 will no longer be available for postgraduates starting 2026/2027, and current residents must vacate by 31 July 2026.
This may impact cost, housing options, and especially female postgraduate accommodation.

We need your input to bring real data to the university management.
