Engineer Intern
Prefered students: Chemical/Mechanical or students from any other courses who have subjects teaching basics of water treatment in their course structure. If any other students are interested in this industry of work, they may apply as well.
*Students who have completed their studies may apply to join us in our internship program as well for 2 months. They may be offered a full time role if their performance upon joining is deemed to be good by the management.*
Position : Engineer Intern
Location : Bukit Mertajam, Penang
Jobscope / Projects to work on:-
1) To visit customer site follow globex engineer/technician to carry out daily monitoring and data taking/record for RODI and IETS system (service contract work)
2) To study and understand on suitable chemical dosing rate for IETS system and suggest the improvement (IETS chemical process)
3) To study and understand function of RODI water system and suggest any improvement .
4) To study and understand the DI water portable mixed bed column regeneration process at Globex workshop and suggest any improvement (Ion Exchange Resin Process)
5) To study and understand wastewater characteristic study and how to treat the high COD/BOD wastewater.
Interns to work directly with our Managing Director who has over 30 years of experience in the water treatment industry and started the company from scratch 18 years ago.
Monthly Allowance: RM 800.00
Requirement :
-Must possess a driving license as travel may be required to the client's site.
-Be willing to learn, hardworking, a team player, fast learner and able to work under pressure.
-Be independent and resourceful in searching for solutions to problems.
-Be open to learning new skills to assist in carrying out tasks as required by company
