The Faculty of Engineering & Information Technology (FEIT) conducted an AI Teaching & Learning Training Session at Foon Yew High School (Kulai) on 13 May 2026.
The training aimed to equip educators with practical skills to effectively integrate AI into teaching and administrative tasks. The session covered:
Prompt engineering techniques for effective AI usage
Development of AI-assisted lesson plans
Proposal writing with AI tools
Introduction to cloud computing concepts
Comparative insights on local LLM deployment, server infrastructure, and cloud-based services
During the session, participants actively engaged in hands-on activities and successfully completed several practical tasks. Key training outcomes include:
