Last Saturday offered an insightful look into the future of legal practice. ⚖️✨

Crescendo International College had the privilege of attending the Johore Bar Conveyancing Event, where industry leaders shared valuable perspectives on the evolving landscape of conveyancing and corporate law. From digitalisation to the growing role of AI, the discussions provided meaningful takeaways for modern legal practitioners.

📌 Key Highlights from Our Distinguished Speakers:

▷ En. Fahmi Zakaria (Ketua Penolong Pengarah, PTG Johor) highlighted the significant improvements in PTG’s services, particularly the efficiency gains achieved through the E-Sistem.
▷ Mr. Anand Raj (Partner, Shearn Delamore) offered an in-depth overview of the transition to Limited Liability Partnerships.
▷ Pn. Norhayati Mohammad (Partner, Fariz Halim & Co) explained recent SRO compliance updates and how practitioners can effectively adapt to these changes.
▷ Mr. Andrew Wong and Mr. R. Jayabalan led a thought-provoking discussion on the role of conveyancing lawyers, drawing insights from the Setiakon Engineering case and bridging conveyancing with litigation.

The session concluded with an engaging and interactive discussion on AI in Conveyancing Practice, led by Mr. Fadhli Ihsan (Chairman of the Johor Bar).

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Johore Bar, as well as the Co-Organising Chairpersons of the Corporate and Conveyancing Sub-committee, Ms. Shahareen Begum and Ms. Lee Mei Yeng, for the invitation and for organising such a well-executed event.
