Dear all UTM Researchers,

Innovation and Commercialisation Centre (ICC) mission is to stimulate UTM technology commercialization and innovation ecosystem towards wealth creation through knowledge, technology and innovation.

THE PROGRAM PURPOSE:
PDF1 is a prototype development fund for the development of TRL 4 - 6, especially for prototypes that have the potential to be marketed

PDF2 is a prototype development fund for TRL 7 - 9, dedicated to assisting product commercialization as well as testing and regulatory compliance

THEME:
These grants focus on green and sustainability, especially for technology related to or fit in any of 10 by 10 or 17 Sustainable Goals or UTM 9 Signature Areas. However, any other technology which is potentially commercialized is highly welcome.

ELIGIBILITY:
Open to UTM Researchers

USE OF GRANTS:
According to their TRL development, applicants are strongly encouraged to request only the specific amount needed to adequately fund their effort and proposed needs in their commercialization journey. ICC will fund the final selected grantees based on their requests up to the provided limit. The grants are inclusive of commercialization support through mentoring, industrial collaboration, training and symbiosis programs.

GRANT AWARDS:
1. Up to RM30,000 for PDF1
2. Up to RM50,000 for PDF2
