[U-ROCK 2023 Drone Delivery Challenge Recap]

On December 2-3, 2023, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UNIMAP) hosted the eagerly awaited U-Rock competition, featuring thrilling categories like Drone Delivery Challenge, Legged Robot Race, and Rope Climbing Robot. Open to higher education institutions, this event unfolded at Dewan 2020 in Kangar, Perlis.

Representing Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), the DFCUKM team, under the guidance of Prof. Madya Ts. Dr Haryanti binti Mohd Affandi, took on the Drone Delivery Challenge as EVATOS UKM. The team consisted of three individuals:

1. Muhammad Aiman bin Zambri (FKAB, Year 3)
2. Muhammad Zafri bin Shaifful Naim (FTSM, Year 2)
3. Wan Muhammad Irfan bin Wan Noor Azmi (FKAB, Year 3)

Despite facing formidable rivals, EVATOS UKM soared high, clinching an impressive spot among the top 10 out of 20 groups in the competitive Drone Delivery category. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the team for their hard work and look forward to witnessing their continuous improvement in future endeavors. Well done, EVATOS UKM!

[U-ROCK 2023 Drone Delivery Challenge Recap]

On December 2-3, 2023, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UNIMAP) hosted the eagerly awaited U-Rock competition, featuring thrilling categories like Drone Delivery Challenge, Legged Robot Race, and Rope Climbing Robot. [KARNIVAL PENDIDIKAN DAN KERJAYA TVET MADANI NEGERI MELAKA @ MITC]

"Reflecting on an incredible experience at Karnival Pendidikan dan Kerjaya TVET Negeri Melaka @ MITC! Drone & Futuristic Club UKM was honored to be part of this visionary event on November 25-26, 2023, at MITC, Melaka.

Over those two days, we dived into the exciting realm of drones and futuristic tech, giving participants a firsthand experience! From hands-on demonstrations to insightful workshops, we shared the art and science of drone handling, unlocking a world of limitless possibilities for the future.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Karnival Pendidikan dan Kerjaya TVET Negeri Melaka and a special appreciation to FUTURISE for bringing Drone & Futuristic Club UKM to this incredible event. [DRONECUBATOR WORKSHOP DFCUKM AT UMPSA]

DFCUKM honoured an invitation for dronecubator workshop from University Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah to share informative transformative and innovative information with great experience and enthusiasm!

The workshop was held on 25-26 November 2023 fulfilled with a theoretical and unforgettable journey experience of practical field flight. Led and instructed by two representative DFCUKM members, significant sharing sessions where everyone obtained good comprehension and enjoyment.

We want to extend our warmest congratulations to the incredible participants of the UAV Engineering Challenge (Youth Edition) at Techlympics 2023, Evatos A and Evatos B. The competition took place on November 19th, 2023.

[The contribution of DFCUKM at Techlympics 2023.]

DFCUKM is thrilled to announce our involvement in the highly anticipated Techlympics 2023 for the UAV Engineering Challenge. This exciting event took place at the prestigious Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) on the 19th and 20th of November 2023.

Techlympics, organized by MOSTI, aims to inspire STEM interest among the youth. With the theme "Luar Biasa, Kolaborasi, Inklusif" (Extraordinary, Collaboration, Inclusive), Techlympics 2023 promotes critical thinking, skill development, and innovation.Featuring 42 competitions in 6 categories, Techlympics 2023 attracted an impressive 1.8 million participants. We are proud to be part of this event and excited to contribute to the growth of talent and innovation in Malaysia.
