On 4 September 2026, the Faculty of Creative Arts (FCA) at New Era University College successfully hosted the National-Level Painting Competition Award Ceremony (69th National Day Celebration) at the White Room Gallery.

Attended by Head of Department of Art & Design Assistant Professor Dr. Juhanita binti Jiman and Head of Department of Creative Multimedia Assistant Professor Dr. Khoo Shiang Tyng, the event celebrated youth creativity while promoting national unity and multicultural understanding.

Among the top achievers were Champion Desmond Wong (SMJK Nan Hwa), First Runner-Up Issac Wan Qin Ni (SMK Yu Hua), and Second Runner-Up Wong Rou Xuan (Pin Hwa High School), along with nine Consolation Award winners from various secondary, independent, and international schools.

The ceremony successfully highlighted NEUCโ€™s commitment to supporting visual arts education and engaging prospective artistic talents.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Dean Dr. Raha and all dedicated team members whose immense support made this event a remarkable success.
