When design, technology, and innovation come together across borders and disciplines, perspectives shift and possibilities expand.
From 27 July to 7 August 2026, German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) students participated in the Design, Technology, Innovation (DTI) Summer School at FH Mรผnster, Germany, gaining an experience that went far beyond the classroom.
Over two weeks, they explored:
โ
Cutting-edge prototyping in electronics, robotics, and virtual reality (VR)
โ
Sustainability frameworks, including Cradle to Cradle and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
โ
Mรผnster and the wider Mรผnsterland region through cultural and educational activities
โ
Collaborative projects with students and professionals from design, engineering, and the humanities
Beyond academics, students experienced German culture, built international friendships, and gained cross-cultural confidence. They didn't just learn. They contributed their own perspectives to a global conversation.
This partnership with FH Mรผnster advances GMI's mission to produce industry-ready graduates through global, hands-on learning. It reflects GMI's commitment to equipping students with both technical know-how and the global outlook employers want.
Danke, FH Mรผnster, for welcoming our students and making this an unforgettable experience.
