UCSF Entrepreneurship Carnival 2026
The UCSF Entrepreneurship Carnival 2026 was successfully conducted over two days, from 19 to 20 August 2026. The carnival was organised as part of the students’ assessment to evaluate their entrepreneurial knowledge, skills, competencies, and ability to apply entrepreneurship concepts in a practical setting.
The carnival involved students enrolled in the Basic Entrepreneurship and Exploring Entrepreneurship courses. Participants comprised Diploma and Degree students from various academic programmes at UCSF, providing them with an opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills acquired through their respective courses in a real-world business environment.
A total of 386 students participated in the carnival. Throughout the two-day event, students were required to plan, organise, promote, and manage their business activities. The carnival provided students with practical exposure to various aspects of entrepreneurship, including business planning, marketing, sales, customer service, financial management, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making.
The carnival also served as an experiential learning platform through which students could translate theoretical knowledge into practical entrepreneurial activities. By engaging directly with customers and managing their businesses, students were able to strengthen their entrepreneurial competencies, enhance their confidence, and gain valuable experience in managing business operations.
Overall, the UCSF Entrepreneurship Carnival 2026 provided an effective platform for assessing students’ entrepreneurial capabilities while promoting experiential and practical learning. The involvement of 386 Diploma and Degree students reflects UCSF’s commitment to developing students’ entrepreneurial skills and preparing them to apply their knowledge effectively in real-world business settings.
