Sekolah Perniagaan dan Ekonomi (SPE), Universiti Malaysia Sabah telah ditubuhkan pada 1995 bagi mencapai visi negara unutk melahirkan lebih ramai usahawan yang berkebolehan dalam pelbagai bidang dan sekaligus menjadi titik tolak negara Malaysia untuk menuju ke arah sebuah negara perindustrian. Kesemua 10 program yang ditawarkan di Sekolah Perniagaan dan Ekonomi (SPE) telah direka untuk memenuhi permintaan pekerjaan dalam pelbagai bidang perniagaan dan ekonomi. Para mahasiswa dan mahasiswi yang dilahirkan oleh SPE sememangnya mampu menjadi tenaga kerja yang positif kepada negara.
