The latest National Student Survey (NSS) 2026 results show improvements across the board, with USW ranked top in Wales for overall satisfaction in a number of subject areas, including Animal Science, Business Studies, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Marketing, Mental Health Nursing, Physiotherapy, and more.

Several subjects were also ranked top in the UK across key areas such as teaching, assessment and feedback, academic support, organisation, and student voice.

USW has also climbed to 4th in Wales for overall positivity and 5th for overall satisfaction ✨
