APU has officially launched its AI Supercomputing Lab, powered by NVIDIA DGX Spark, officiated by Dato’ Seri DiRaja Dr Zambry bin Abdul Kadir, Minister of Higher Education.👏

The lab gives students, academics and researchers access to advanced AI computing, supporting work in LLMs, Generative AI, robotics, data science, intelligent automation and emerging AI technologies.

With NVIDIA DGX Spark, users can locally run, train and fine-tune AI models of up to 200 billion parameters.

More than a lab, this is a step towards building Malaysia’s AI talent and capabilities, empowering the next generation to move beyond using AI and become the ones who build, experiment and innovate with it. 🇲🇾

A closer look behind one of Malaysia’s favourite homegrown brands! ☕🇲🇾

Our Marketing & Management students recently visited ZUS Coffee for an opportunity to learn about the people, ideas and technology behind the brand’s growth. 💙

Through sharing sessions, a behind-the-scenes tour and an engaging Q&A, students gained insights into areas such as branding, product innovation, technology and business growth, while connecting what they learn in the classroom with industry practices.

And of course, the visit wouldn’t be complete without trying some ZUS favourites! ☕🤩

We said something powerful was coming. Now, it’s officially here.

APU has officially launched its AI Supercomputing Lab, powered by NVIDIA DGX Spark, officiated by Dato’ Seri DiRaja Dr Zambry bin Abdul Kadir, Minister of Higher Education. 🤝

This new facility puts advanced AI computing directly in the hands of our students, academics and researchers, opening up opportunities to work with LLMs, Generative AI, robotics, data science, intelligent automation and emerging AI technologies.

With NVIDIA DGX Spark, students can locally run, train and fine-tune AI models of up to 200 billion parameters.

More than a lab, this is a step towards building Malaysia’s AI talent and capabilities, empowering the next generation to move beyond simply using AI and become the people who build, experiment and innovate with it.

At APU’s Managing International Supply Chain (MISC) Poster Exhibition, 34 students had the opportunity to share their research, explain their ideas and receive feedback from academic evaluators. 🤩🙌

Their projects explored topics such as sustainability, logistics, digital transformation and supply chain resilience, giving students a chance to apply what they have learned and build their confidence in presenting and discussing their work.

A meaningful learning experience that brought students, academics and ideas together. 💙
