MUON TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP 2026: SEEING THROUGH STONE
How can cosmic particles help us map the ground beneath a city without digging a single hole?
The Department of Physics, Universiti Malaya is pleased to host the Muon Technology Workshop 2026, featuring an introduction to muography by the Muon Technology Laboratory, Tsung Dao Lee Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Muography uses naturally occurring cosmic ray muons to image the internal structure of large and dense objects. This workshop will explore its potential applications and provide a platform for discussion between researchers and institutional partners.
