Two teams from TAR UMT KL and Perak Branch, respectively, were among the top 15 teams awarded a grant from Perbadanan Kemajuan Filem Nasional Malaysia (FINAS) under the Reel Madani@Kampus Programme.

Project Titles:
Salah Faham (KL)
Pluto Dari Bidor (Perak Branch)

The RM25,000 grant will allow the teams to produce their respective films around the 'Malaysia Madani: Melestarikan Perpaduan di Kalangan Masyarakat' theme, where the completed work will be submitted to compete at the Festival Filem Pendek dan Video (FFPV) later this year.

The grant was awarded by Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communications, during a presentation ceremony on 24 May 2026.

So looking forward to our students' films on the silver screen soon!
