Please be informed that all sports facilities under the Sports Development Centre (SDC), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Gombak Campus, will be closed from 27 May 2026 to 2 June 2026 in conjunction with Eid al-Adha and Wesak Day. Operations and activities will resume as usual on 3 June 2026 (Wednesday).

Huge congratulations go out to our stellar IIUM Mustangs Woodball athlete, Sr. Nur Zalilah binti Sohaimi, for her phenomenal performances and podium finishes across two major national and open championships! 🔥⛳

Alhamdulillah! A huge thank you to everyone who laced up their sneakers and joined us for the 3rd Edition of the ODRSDCE Monthly Health Awareness Programme: Brisk Walk! 🏃‍♂️💨

It was incredible to see our IIUM Gombak community coming together this morning, full of high energy and smiles, as we took a collective step forward toward a healthier lifestyle. From the fun warm-up session to the flag-off around the main campus roads, your amazing enthusiasm made today a fantastic success! 🙌✨

🌊 Leading the Way to SUPANUN 2026! 🏆

The energy was high and the spirits were roaring yesterday morning at the Office of Management Services Department (MSD) as we officially held the Meet & Greet and Flag-Off Ceremony for our incredible IIUM Staff Contingent! ✨

Our dedicated staff athletes are officially on their way to compete in the prestigious Kejohanan Sukan Pantai Badan Berkanun Malaysia (SUPANUN) 2026.

The ceremony was graced by our esteemed guest, Mdm. Wan Najihah Nurashikin Wan Abdullah, who alongside our Head of Department and Executive Director, shared inspiring words of encouragement, reminding the contingent to uphold the values of sportsmanship, excellence, and unity.

A symbolic flag-off moment marked the beginning of this exciting journey, signaling that our athletes are ready to conquer the beach games and bring pride back to the Garden of Knowledge and Virtue! 🏝️

We want to thank all the staff and supporters who gathered to send off our team with roaring cheers.

🎯 SDC Traditional Archery Championship 2026: Bullseye Memories! What an incredible display of focus, precision, and sportsmanship! 🎯✨

We would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to all the sharp shooters who stepped up to the line at the SDC Traditional Archery Championship last Saturday! Watching our athletes adapt across the standing (15m), kneeling (12m), and sitting (10m) formats was nothing short of spectacular.

To all our winners, participants, and the energetic crowd who cheered them on at Padang Ragbi IIUM Gombak. Thank you for making this event a massive success! Your passion keeps the spirit of traditional sports thriving on campus.
