The Hult Prize Competition, known as the largest youth movement aimed at solving pressing social issues through start-ups, is coming to HELP University this year! 🌏

Under the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accounting, the competition will take place from October to December 2020. Finals will take place on *12th December 2020 on Microsoft Teams, from 1PM - 4:30PM*. Stand a chance to win cash prizes up to RM1500 for the on-campus round! The winning team from this event will be guaranteed a spot at the Regional round and potentially win 1 million USD! 🤩

[End of Student Council Term 19/20]

It is with a heavy heart that we would like to inform everyone that the Student Council term 19/20 has officially ended. Thank you to everyone for the continuous support and for attending our events. Despite the difficult times, we hope to see everyone again soon once the situation permits.

This is to allow more time for interested applicants to send in their applications and we encourage them to apply as soon as possible!

As Malaysia emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic, a recovery remains subject to a high degree of uncertainty. Macroeconomic conditions have been dislocated, as widespread containment measures constrained production, employment and incomes, generating massive global demand shockwaves. We are now confronted with a weak and uneven demand environment, depleted policy space, and elevated uncertainty, drawing concerns over the sustainability of a recovery. This crisis has also made salient pockets of vulnerabilities, namely financial, trade and geopolitical. Any recovery certainly depends on the visibility and mitigation of these risks.

Be informed and join PFAA's second e-Speaker Series with Malaysia's esteemed economists and policy makers Dr. Norhana Endut, Nurhisham Hussein, Dr. Richard Record and Dr. Hans Genberg as we discuss Malaysia's road to economic recovery.

On our last UOL Talk Series, we discussed some interesting concepts behind blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies. Many thanks to our guest speaker, Kristian and his crew from CoinGecko who came over to demystify them and educated us on the operations behind cryptocurrencies.

Once again we would like to extend our gratitude to all the students who came to our talks for their continuous support over the past few weeks. The council really appreciates it and could not have done this without you all. Hopefully we can still see you all for the upcoming events.
