This small token of appreciation was dedicated to honouring the incredible commitment, compassion, and sacrifices made by nurses in delivering quality healthcare and patient care every single day.

We are proud to announce that the Pharmacy Team from the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, IJN University College (IJNUC), has been awarded the Gold Award at the prestigious 7th Malaysia-Japan International Conference on Nanoscience, Nanotechnology, and Nanoengineering 2026 (MJIC 2026).
The winning team consists of:
• Wan Azman Wan Ismail (IJNUC)
• Ts. Dr. Noreen Ang (IJNUC)
• Nur Shahirah Mohamed Yasin (IJNUC)
• Ts. Vitalis Ronald Eden (IJNUC)
• Che Amira Izzati (IJNUC)
• Prof. Dr. Mizaton Hazizul Hasan (UiTM)
Their award-winning project, “From Invasive to Irresistible: Good for Cats, Good for Nature”, is a collaborative initiative between IJN University College, the Fisheries Research Institute under the Department of Fisheries Malaysia, and the Faculty of Pharmacy, UiTM Puncak Alam.
This innovative research focuses on the formulation and characterization of wet cat food developed from invasive suckermouth armoured catfish (pleco). The project also includes comprehensive toxicity evaluations, heavy metal analysis, and nutritional characterization to ensure safe and optimal pet growth and development.
Now achieving Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 7, the project is moving closer towards commercialization — transforming an environmental challenge into a sustainable and innovative pet nutrition solution.
Congratulations to the entire research team on this outstanding achievement and for bringing pride to IJNUC through innovation, research excellence, and impactful collaboration.

IJN University College (IJNUC) proudly marked another significant milestone through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dr. Ridzuan Manufacturing on 29 April 2026 at the Auditorium, IJN University College.

The MOU was officially signed by Prof. Emerita Dr. Durrishah Idrus, Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive of IJN University College, and Dr. Muhd Ridzuan Pauzi, Chairman of the Board of Directors & Chief Executive Officer of Dr. Ridzuan Manufacturing.

This strategic collaboration reflects a shared commitment in strengthening the bridge between academia and industry, particularly in creating greater opportunities for:
