EKSPLORASI STEM 2.0: MENCUNGKIL BAKAT SAINTIS MUDA! ๐Ÿ”ฌโœจ

Program Eksplorasi STEM 2.0 telah berlangsung dengan jayanya pada 19 Ogos 2026 di Fakulti Perubatan, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

Seramai 120 pelajar Tingkatan 3 daripada 12 buah sekolah menengah dari Kuala Lumpur, Selangor dan Negeri Sembilan telah menyertai pengalaman STEM yang penuh dengan eksplorasi, eksperimen dan aktiviti menarik! ๐Ÿ”ฌโœจ

Daripada menyiasat kes โ€œSiapa Pembunuh Jane?โ€, menjalankan eksperimen fisiologi dan farmakologi, meneroka Muzium Anatomi dan Parasitologi sehinggalah menyertai Kuiz STEM, ceramah dan pertandingan sorakan, para pelajar berpeluang merasai sendiri pengalaman sebagai seorang saintis. ๐Ÿงฌ๐ŸŽฏ

Semoga pengalaman ini dapat menyemai minat, mencetuskan inspirasi dan membuka peluang kepada para pelajar untuk terus menerokai STEM serta menjadikannya sebagai pilihan kerjaya pada masa hadapan. ๐ŸŒฑโœจ

STEM ADVENTURES 2.0: UNLEASHING THE SCIENTIST PRODIGY!

STEM Adventures 2.0 was successfully held on 19 August 2026 at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

The programme brought together 120 Form 3 students from 12 secondary schools across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan for an exciting STEM experience filled with exploration, experimentation and hands-on activities! ๐Ÿ”ฌโœจ

From investigating the case of โ€œWho Killed Jane?โ€, conducting physiology and pharmacology experiments, exploring the Anatomy Museum, to taking part in a STEM Quiz, talks and team cheer competition, students had the opportunity to experience what it is like to be a scientist. ๐Ÿงฌ๐ŸŽฏ

May this experience spark curiosity, inspire young minds and encourage students to explore STEM and consider it as a future career pathway. ๐ŸŒฑโœจ

31 Julai 2026 | DTERM Seminar Series 6/2026

Hari ini telah berlangsung seminar bertajuk "Investigating Neurological Comorbidities Using Animal Models: Rodents or Zebrafish?" yang disampaikan oleh Dr. Alina Arulsamy dari Monash University Malaysia. Beliau telah berkongsi pengetahuan dan pengalaman dalam bidang neurosains, khususnya berkaitan epilepsi, kecederaan otak traumatik, serta penggunaan model haiwan dalam penyelidikan neurologi.

Seminar ini turut memberi peluang kepada para peserta untuk memahami kelebihan dan cabaran penggunaan model rodensia dan zebrafish dalam penyelidikan penyakit neurologi.

Setinggi-tinggi penghargaan diucapkan kepada Dr. Alina Arulsamy atas perkongsian yang sangat bermanfaat, Dr. Nur Atiqah Haizum Abdullah selaku moderator, serta semua peserta yang telah hadir dan menjayakan seminar ini. Semoga perkongsian ilmu pada hari ini menjadi inspirasi kepada lebih banyak penyelidikan, inovasi dan kolaborasi pada masa hadapan.

Today, DTERM successfully hosted the seminar "Investigating Neurological Comorbidities Using Animal Models: Rodents or Zebrafish?", presented by Dr. Alina Arulsamy from Monash University Malaysia. She shared her knowledge and research experience in the field of neuroscience, particularly in epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, and the use of animal models in neurological research.

The seminar also provided participants with valuable insights into the advantages and challenges of using rodent and zebrafish models in the study of neurological disorders.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Dr. Alina Arulsamy for her insightful presentation, Dr. Nur Atiqah Haizum Abdullah as the moderator, and all participants for their attendance and contribution to the success of this seminar.
We hope the knowledge shared during this session will inspire future research, innovation, and meaningful collaborations.
