📃Celebrating Scholarship in Malay Gastronomic Heritage

INHART congratulates Asst. Prof. Dr. Wan Syibrah Hanisah Wan Sulaiman and her co-authors on the publication of their book chapter, “Bunga Telang (Clitoria ternatea) sebagai Pewarna Semula Jadi: Eksplorasi Gastronomi Melayu.”

Published in Warisan Kreativiti & Pembangunan Lestari di Nusantara: Identiti Budaya dan Kearifan Tempatan, the chapter explores butterfly pea flower as a natural colourant in Malay gastronomy.

Congratulations to all authors on this contribution to documenting traditional knowledge and food heritage.

🤝 STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP DISCUSSION | INHART, IIUM × WIED

The International Institute for Halal Research and Training (INHART), IIUM welcomed representatives from Olympia Education Malaysia and WIED Capital Berhad for a strategic discussion on potential institutional collaboration to support the success of WIED WEEK 2027.

The discussion brought together representatives from both organisations to explore collaborative opportunities, strengthen institutional ties, and establish a foundation for meaningful partnerships.

Representing Olympia Education Malaysia and WIED were Prof. Dr. Dzuljastri Abdul Razak, Academic Director, Olympia Education Malaysia and Mr. Azrin bin Sabirin, Chief Executive Officer, WIED Capital Berhad.
