New opportunities are on the horizon for those looking to build practical, industry-relevant skills through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK), through Akademi TVET UNIRAZAK (ATUR), has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with RB Global Holdings Sdn Bhd, paving the way for the establishment of Akademi TVET UNIRAZAK Cawangan Kuantan.
The collaboration will expand ATURโs presence to Kuantan, with the proposed centre focusing on welding, welding inspection and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). The programmes will be developed in line with industry standards, the National Occupational Skill Standard (NOSS) and relevant regulatory requirements.
Through this collaboration, ATUR will provide support in areas such as accreditation, quality assurance and academic development, while RB Global Holdings will support the establishment and day-to-day operations of the centre. Both parties also work together to incorporate industry feedback into programme design and delivery, helping ensure the training remains relevant to current job market needs.
The establishment of Akademi TVET UNIRAZAK Cawangan Kuantan will open up more opportunities for learners to gain practical technical skills and pursue skills-based education closer to home. It also marks another step in ATURโs efforts to make industry-relevant TVET education more accessible while preparing learners with skills that can support their future careers.
Flexible. Accessible. Central.
And thatโs a ๐
