HELP ! PLEASE CHECK IT OUT AND HELP IF YOU CAN, IF NOT, HELP US WITH SHARING THIS :)

A close family member from Bosnia took her 7 year old son to the emergency room after he was experiencing severe stomach pains, only to have the doctor confirm a diagnosis of Burkitt's lymphoma. This type of cancer is recognized as the fastest growing human tumor and is associated with impaired immunity and is rapidly fatal if left untreated. Due to the lack of medical resources needed to treat him in Sarajevo, the family is looking into options to have him go elsewhere for chemotherapy and appropriate treatment. Please consider donating to help little Mak get better as soon as possible. If you are unable to donate, simply click and share this story. Thank you for your help in advance.

One of our student had the opportunity to meet with the Minister of Home Affairs and other chief ministers during the iftar. Here is what he observed and shared with us:

"Alhamdulillah I was given the chance to experience the wave of change in Malaysia with one of my closest friends being part of the mastermind for the change.

Initially Dr Mahathir the new Prime Minister of Malaysia was scheduled to attend the function, unfortunately due to his schedule he had to cancel last minute.

However, I was lucky enough to meet with various ministers and chief ministers of states. The picture is with Tan Sri Muhyiddin the previous Deputy Prime Minister and the current Minister of Home Affairs.

What I've learnt from my observation is that Malaysian Politics have been very youth friendly, from the trust given to young Malaysians to lead a political party in their early 20s and more youth candidates participating in the General Election.

Change happens best through youth power. Great fresh new ideas with a reformed mind set would become better check and balances for a country. Change could only happen when the youth unites and play their role in each sector let it be through parties or as simple as going out to vote.

Maybe it's time that Bosnia also go through this reform agenda. Youths have to come together and create the change that we aspire for the future.

If a 60 year old establishment can be changed in Malaysia. Why not us?"
