Electromagnetics Research Group - EMRG Electromagnetics Research Group (EMRG) established in July 2014 to consolidate researchers which interest in the related field studies.

Current research project are studying the electromagnetic wave behaviour and characteristic to benefit the human health, radio communication, satellite signal transmission, astronomy field, mobile telecommunication and wireless signal in the range of radio waves. We study the radio signal attenuation due to weather and air quality in Malaysia, The sky-brightness at several selected sites were cond

ucted around Malaysia and Nigeria to overcome the light pollution problem in optical telescope observation. This study is in the range of visible light. As astronomy had become a popular subject in Malaysia, due to advancement in social media network, people loves to share information on the internet without paying attention to the validity, reliability and accuracy of the content provided. Hence, public awareness study on astronomical phenomenon was conducted to see the misconception on the astronomical facts. We also manage to do the case study on hoax/scam/fraud in astronomy from the perspectives of islam. We also manage to conduct theoretical study on the interaction between light and matter to understand the dynamics of atom and the electromagnetic field. This is in the field of quantum optics which will benefit quantum information science, quantum electrodynamics, quantum nanostructures and many more.

19 November 2023.

- Hujan Meteor Leonids selalunya aktif pada bulan November setiap tahun.

- Ia biasanya mencapai puncak sekitar 18 atau 19 November.

- Semasa kemuncak, boleh muncul 10-15 meteor setiap jam.

- Dinamakan Leonids kerana mucul di dalam Buruj Leo.

- Hujan Meteor Leonids berlaku apabila Bumi melepas serpihan yang ditinggalkan oleh Komet Tempel-Tuttle.

- Komet Tempel-Tuttle mengambil masa 33 tahun untuk membuat satu orbit mengelilingi Matahari.

Balai Cerap KUSZA, Merang - Imej Star Trail yang berjaya dirakam di Balai Cerap KUSZA, ESERI, UniSZA pada 29 Julai 2022 jam 11.10PM.

Imej ini diambil dengan kamera tetap menghala ke Bintang Polaris (Bintang Kutub Utara) di Hemisfera Utara dan kamera dibiarkan selama 1 jam 25 minit (gabungan 300 imej). Hasilnya, imej yang digabungkan akan merakam pergerakan bintang yang terbit di timur dan terbenam di barat kesan dari Bumi yang berputar pada paksinya.
