ELMU was honoured to receive the National Real Estate Research and Development Grant Scheme (NAPREC) research grant presented by Institut Penilaian Negara (INSPEN), marking another significant milestone in the universityโs commitment towards impactful research and national development.
The grant presentation ceremony was attended by distinguished representatives including Professor Datuk Dr. Kassim Noor Mohamed, Vice Chancellor of ELMU, Ir. Dr. Nor Azhar Mohd Arif, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation & Graduate Studies), ELMU, together with delegates from INSPEN including Puan Fatimah binti Zulkifli, National Property Research Coordinator (NAPREC), and Encik Mohd Sharil bin Razali, Senior Research Officer, NAPREC.
The research project entitled:
โIsu Penguatkuasaan Dan Pentadbiran Tanah Hutan Simpan โ Kelestarian Alam Sekitar Dan Sumber Asliโ
is led by Dr. Noraziah binti Abu Bakar together with her dedicated research team, and was awarded a grant amount of RM70,000 under the NAPREC research initiative.
This research reflects an important national agenda in strengthening governance, enforcement, environmental sustainability, and the sustainable management of forest reserve lands and natural resources.
The achievement further reinforces ELMUโs growing role in driving meaningful academic research, policy-focused studies, and interdisciplinary collaboration that contribute towards national progress and sustainable development. ๐ฒ๐พโจ
