Kunjungan Hormat DHU ke RTM Pahang | 7 Ogos 2026

DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia (DHU) telah mengadakan kunjungan hormat ke RTM Pahang dalam usaha memperkukuh hubungan strategik serta meneroka peluang kerjasama yang dapat memberi manfaat kepada kedua-dua organisasi.

Delegasi DHU yang terdiri daripada Tn. Hj. Andi Suswandi Shamsuddin, Ketua Bahagian Venture & Alliances, Puan Siti Mariam Ismail, Ketua Jabatan Penjenamaan dan Komunikasi dan Cik Nurul Nabilah, Eksekutif Jabatan Penjenamaan dan Komunikasi, telah mengadakan perbincangan bersama Ts. 🌱 Safety & Health Awareness Campaign | SK Peramu Jaya
📅 5 August 2026

As part of an Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) initiative, Semester 4 students from the Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) programme at DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia (DHU) successfully conducted a Safety & Health Awareness Campaign safetyclub_dhu at SK Peramu Jaya.

The programme aimed to raise awareness among primary school pupils on the importance of safety and health through a series of engaging and interactive activities, including safety talks, first aid awareness, ergonomic practices, safety quizzes, and educational games.

This initiative not only provided valuable knowledge and practical safety awareness to the pupils but also enabled DHU students to apply their classroom learning in a real-world community setting. It reflects DHU’s commitment to nurturing competent, socially responsible graduates while supporting the principles of ESG.

From Classroom to Marketplace: Our Students Become Small Business Owners for Half a Day! 🚀

Yesterday (5 August 2026), students from the Small Business Management course, taught by Dr. Putri Rozita Tahir, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business, DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia (DHU), stepped out of the classroom and into the real world as small business owners for half a day during THE PITT STOP POP UP DAY.

As part of this TVET-inspired experiential learning project, students didn’t just learn about entrepreneurship, they experienced it firsthand. Over the past month, they developed business ideas, created promotional materials, leveraged Instagram and social media platforms to market their products, engaged with customers, managed pre-orders, and finally operated their own pop-up businesses.

This hands-on experience enabled students to develop practical skills in entrepreneurship, digital marketing, customer service, business operations, and teamwork while gaining valuable insights into the realities of running a small business.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our student entrepreneurs yesterday. Your encouragement helps transform classroom learning into meaningful real-world experiences.

At DHU, we don’t just teach entrepreneurship, we empower students to experience it.

DRB-HICOM University (DHU) was honoured to attend the Hi-Tea Reception with students from the Selangor Integrated Special Education Programme (PPKI) in recognition of their outstanding achievement in qualifying for the Global IT Challenge (GITC) Korea 2025.

Held at Kelab Shah Alam, Selangor, the event celebrated the remarkable accomplishments of these students and their dedication to excellence in information technology and innovation.

The ceremony also featured an inspiring address by YB Danial Al-Rashid Haron Aminar Rashid, Chairman of the Selangor Action Council for Persons with Disabilities (MTOS), who reaffirmed the importance of empowering persons with disabilities through education, technology, and equal opportunities.

DRB-HICOM University (DHU) was delighted to participate in the STEM Exhibition at the Pahang State Tahfiz School. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the organisers for inviting us to be part of this meaningful event.

It was truly inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and curiosity shown by the students throughout the exhibition. Our booth became one of the designated checkpoints, giving students the opportunity to engage with hands-on automotive learning experiences.

Students had the chance to explore the automotive engine and go-kart brought by DHU—both of which are used by our students as part of their practical learning. This provided them with a unique opportunity to see the technology up close, understand how it works, and experience the exciting world of automotive engineering firsthand.

We hope this experience has sparked greater interest in STEM and inspired more young minds to explore future opportunities in the automotive industry.
