On behalf of the School of Physics, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), and the Optical Society of Malaysia (OSM), we are pleased to invite you to the 1st Malaysia Near Infrared Spectroscopy Meeting (MNIRSM 2026).
This inaugural meeting aims to serve as a premier platform for researchers, scientists, and industry professionals to share insights and advancements under the theme:
“Spectroscopy and Photonics Research for Science, Technology, and Innovation.”

Scope of the Meeting
MNIRSM 2026 will cover a wide range of topics, including:
* NIR Spectroscopy & Hyperspectral Imaging
* Chemometrics and Aquaphotomics Analysis
* Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Applications
* Biomedical and Health Applications
* Optical Sensors and Photonic Devices
Participant Benefits
* Publication: All accepted extended abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings with a registered e-ISBN.
* Complimentary Workshops: Airborne Spectroscopic Analytics, FTIR and UV-VIS-NIR workshops at no additional cost.
* Free Sample Analysis: Participants are entitled to two (2) complimentary sample analyses using any of the following techniques: UV–Vis–NIR, Raman Spectroscopy, or FTIR.
