The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), successfully conducted a Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training on 2 September 2026, aimed at strengthening awareness and understanding of responsible and ethical research practices among postgraduate students and researchers.
The training was facilitated by Dr. Thaigarajan Parumasivam, with Dr. Hooi Ling. Through interactive discussions, real-life scenarios and group activities, participants explored important aspects of research integrity, including fabrication, falsification and plagiarism (FFP), factors contributing to research misconduct, the responsibilities of key stakeholders in the research ecosystem, and the wider consequences of research misconduct.
