Faculty of Medicine, Lincoln University College

Lincoln University College Faculty of Medicine was established in year 2011. It received the approval to commence the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme from Malaysian Medical Council in August 2011. The programme was then officially started on 19 December 2011 with its first intake of 18 students. 13 students from this first batch graduated in March 2017. ramme offered by Faculty of Medicine, Lincoln University College. The MD Programme is a 5-years programme consist of 2 years of pre-clinical and 3 years of clinical phase. In general, the course is based by a mixture of traditional subject and multi-disciplinary learning system. The pre-clinical teaching and learning activities are held at Extended campus Kelan Jaya Learning Site while the clinical teaching and learning activities are held at Tanah Merah and Lembah Sireh, Kota Bharu. Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital (HPRZ2), Tanah Merah Hospital, Tumpat Health Clinics, Wakaf Bharu Health Clinics and Bunohan Health Clinics in Kelantan have been approved for clinical attachments by the Ministry of Health. Besides MD, this faculty also offers postgraduate course; Master in Medical Sciences and PhD in Medical Physiology. This faculty are powered with 65 academic staff in-campus, 80 adjunct and honorary lecturers and 44 supporting staff who are based in both Kelana Jaya and Lembah Sireh Campus.
