The second edition of the Yes2Malaysia Education Expo 2026 was held on 28 and 29 August 2026 at the Mulia Hotel, Bandar Seri Begawan. Organised by Rexpocentral with the support of the High Commission of Malaysia, the expo continues to serve as a flagship platform for promoting Malaysia’s higher education offerings and strengthening education ties between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam.

This edition brought together 22 Malaysian public and private higher education institutions, showcasing Malaysia’s diverse, high-quality and globally competitive tertiary education opportunities. The expo generated strong interest, recording more than 2,000 registered prospective students and parents, underscoring the continued appeal of Malaysia as a preferred destination for higher education.

The High Commissioner of Malaysia, HE Datuk Mohd Aini Atan, reaffirmed the High Commission’s full support for the initiative and highlighted its importance in further advancing educational cooperation and strengthening people-to-people linkages.

The High Commission of Malaysia remains committed to supporting the Yes2Malaysia Education Expo as a premier physical platform for promoting Malaysia as the preferred tertiary education destination for Bruneian aspiring students. The expo also reinforces education as an important pillar of the longstanding special relations between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam.

Our latest Yes2Malaysia Education Expo, held at the end of August, welcomed an exceptional turnout of students and parents — creating another meaningful opportunity to explore Malaysian higher education.

An education expo is more than just an event. It is where students can meet university representatives, ask questions, explore their options and gain a clearer understanding of what it takes to study in Malaysia.

From choosing the right programme to understanding university opportunities, having the chance to engage directly and get the right information can make all the difference in a student's education journey.

Following our successful return to Mandalay, the main Education Malaysia Expo in Yangon continued the momentum with an even bigger visitor turnout.

With strong attendance, quality enquiries and, importantly, on-the-spot applications, the event once again created meaningful opportunities for students and parents to explore Malaysian higher education and take the next step towards their future.

From discovering study options to speaking directly with Malaysian universities, is about making the right information and real opportunities more accessible to students in Myanmar.

We are also grateful for the continued support of the Embassy of Malaysia in Yangon and the Malaysia-Myanmar Business Chamber. Your presence and support continue to strengthen our efforts to connect students with Malaysia as an education destination.

After Mandalay and Yangon, one thing is clear — there is strong interest among students and parents in exploring what Malaysia has to offer.

Back in — and what a fantastic return!

After returning to Mandalay, was met with a fantastic turnout, strong-quality enquiries and, most importantly, students taking the next step with on-the-spot applications.

It was a meaningful opportunity for students and parents to connect directly with participating Malaysian universities, explore their study options, ask questions and get the information they need to make more informed decisions about their future.

A heartfelt to all our participating Malaysian universities for being part of our return to Mandalay and for making time to engage directly with students and parents. Your presence made these conversations and opportunities possible.

Held on Friday, Mandalay provided a strong opening to our Myanmar programme, ahead of our main event in on Sunday.

And this return to Mandalay is more than just another event.

As we move towards 2027, continues to connect students across different markets with Malaysian higher education — bringing them closer to the right universities, the right information and real opportunities to pursue their education goals.

The final chapter of our GCC Tour comes to a close in Kuwait.

Alhamdulillah, after an exciting week across the region, the journey concludes safely and successfully.

From one destination to another, remained focused on bringing Malaysian higher education closer to students and parents across the GCC — creating opportunities to discover study options, connect with Malaysian universities, have meaningful conversations and take the next step towards their education journey.

A heartfelt thank you to all participating Malaysian universities for being part of this journey. Your presence, commitment and willingness to engage directly with students and parents are what make these conversations possible.

Consistency is never an accident.

After another outstanding stop in Abu Dhabi, the GCC Tour continued its momentum in with yet another massive turnout.

The crowds exceeded expectations, the conversations were meaningful, and most importantly, students and parents had the opportunity to connect directly with Malaysian universities, explore their options and take important steps towards their education journey — including strong on-the-spot applications.

We were especially honoured to have the Consul General of Malaysia in Dubai, H.E. Mr. Riaz Bin Abdul Razak, with us for almost the entire duration of the expo. His willingness to personally engage with parents, guide prospective students and advocate for Malaysian higher education made the experience even more meaningful for the families who attended.

Choosing a university is a major decision. Beyond simply exploring different institutions, students need the opportunity to ask questions, understand their study options, clarify admission requirements and speak directly with the people who can provide the right information.

That is what is all about — creating a platform where students and parents can discover Malaysian higher education, have genuine conversations with university representatives and make more informed decisions about their future.

From to — the journey continues, and another successful chapter of has come to a close.

The Biggest InfoDay brought together 24 Malaysian universities under one roof, giving students and parents in Abu Dhabi the opportunity to discover a wide range of study options, explore different programmes and speak directly with university representatives.

With so many choices available, finding the right university is not simply about having more options. It is about having the right information, asking the right questions and being able to make an informed decision with confidence.

Throughout the event, students and parents had the opportunity to engage directly with participating Malaysian universities, discuss their academic interests, explore admission pathways and better understand what Malaysia has to offer as a study destination.

Our sincere appreciation goes to all our Malaysian university partners for being part of this journey and for taking the time to meet, advise and connect with students and families in Abu Dhabi.

Despite temperatures reaching 47°C in Doha, the energy inside the Yes2Malaysia Education Info Day never slowed.

From the moment the doors opened until well beyond the scheduled closing time, the venue remained filled with prospective students and families eager to explore higher education opportunities in Malaysia.

Bringing together 24 Malaysian universities is a significant achievement, but the true measure of success lies in creating meaningful engagement—connecting institutions with the right students, facilitating quality consultations, and supporting on-the-spot applications.

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and commitment of the REXPO team, whose months of planning and flawless ex*****on ensured another successful event.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Embassy of Malaysia, Doha for its continued support in promoting Malaysian higher education in Qatar.

Finally, our heartfelt thanks go to all participating university partners for their trust and commitment in joining us despite the regional uncertainties. Your confidence and collaboration continue to strengthen Malaysia's position as a preferred study destination for students across the GCC.

With Doha successfully concluded, we now look forward to the next chapter as Yes2Malaysia heads to the United Arab Emirates.
