On 25 September, AeU and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) came together at The Intelligent Age Summit in Kuala Lumpur to present Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) recognition to our scholars and alumni.

Yesterday, we carried that recognition to Putrajaya.

AeU visited the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Headquarters to personally present FCMI certificates to three of our graduates: YBhg. Datuk Azmi Kamaruzaman, Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention) and our APEL.Q MIM graduate, together with Tuan Mohd Shahril Che Saad and Tuan Samsul bin Salip, both APEL.Q MBA graduates. The certificates were presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. Azmi Hj. Mohd, AeU’s Chief Integrity Officer.

A qualification should hold its value beyond the institution that awards it. Recognition from CMI, a UK professional body, reflects the alignment between the learning and experience our graduates bring and the standards expected internationally.

To Datuk Azmi, Tuan Shahril and Tuan Samsul, congratulations on graduating this year. We look forward to celebrating your academic achievement with you at AeU’s 15th Convocation Ceremony.

To all our School of Management graduates, congratulations!

Many of you were already managing teams, running businesses or holding down demanding jobs when you started. Then you added assignments, deadlines and late-night study on top of everything else, and you still made it to the finish line. That says a lot about who you are.
