Hello everyone! We hope that this photo can help you visualise how we're going to travel around Malaysia and to Thailand.

Once you have flown in to Kuala Lumpur (either KLIA or KLIA2) on August 7th, you are required to travel to AKEPT Ministry of Higher Education located in Nilai which is 30 minutes away from KLIA/KLIA2. Grand opening and launching ceremony will be held there.

On the 5th day, we will be travelling to Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang by bus. The journey from KL to Penang takes about 5 hours. This can be seen as "A" in the photo.

On the 8th day, we will head to Prince of Songkhla University (PSU) by bus as well. We will cross the Malaysian-Thai border at Bukit Kayu Hitam - where you will get your passports stamped. This is represented as "B" on the photo.

When the programme ends on August 18th, we will travel back to Penang by bus again (as shown in the photo as "C"). Approximate time of arrival in Penang is 5pm local time.

Flight tickets to and fro delegates' home country are borne by the delegates themselves. AFLES 2014 only arranges transportation for KL>Penang>Hatyai>Penang as well as local tours.

This summit is jointly organized by Universiti Sains Malaysia & Prince of Songkla University with the support of ASEAN University Network AUN Secretariat. We hope the experience in this summit brings ASEAN closer, helps spread the leadership and inspire others to lead in ASEAN countries.
