Prolific invasive species with attractive flower( and its seeds head too) and as a beneficial plant too, already presence at our doorstep( only at suitable environment).
Dandelion( Taraxacum officionale) is a member of sunflower family, Asteraceae.. even though it is labelled as invasive..here in our country it will be confined to high land area with cooler temperature.
In this photos the specimen found on the roadside of Brinchang, Cameron Highland.
The seedshead was examined under low resolution microscope ,comprised of numerous achene with pappus that help it float in the air as the way it disperse.
This plant was featured in your biology subject related to environment.
