Huge congratulations to everyone who successfully made it to the summit of Mount Rinjani during our trip from 27 May - 31 May 2026!

Everything went incredibly smoothly, and we were blessed with absolutely perfect weather throughout the trek. ☀️✨ Even though the long weekend holiday meant the trails and the peak were super crowded with fellow hikers from Malaysia and Indonesia, the energy was amazing.

Thank you to the whole team for making this journey such a memorable and successful one. Rest up well, and see you on the next adventure! 🥾⛺️

Yesterday 7 June 2026, a small crew of 3 of us took on Rajah once again. The rain started even before we took our first steps, making the trail incredibly muddy, paired with a constant light downpour.

The river water level was significantly higher than my last visit, but we managed to cross it safely and kept moving.

Our pace was solid, hitting our target to reach the peak right around the 6-hour to 6.30-hour mark. After a quick meal and some photos to celebrate, we immediately began our descent.

We made it out just before dark! A massive congratulations to the 50+ years old in our group who finished with a final time of 12 hours 59 minutes. It was his very first time tackling Rajah, and we are so incredibly proud of his success and grit! 💪🔥

19 Hours 36 Minutes of Pure Determination 🌲💪

On 5th June 2026, Jaye Goh and I led a group of 5 incredible hikers up the mighty Gunung Rajah.

For everyone in the group, this was a massive undertaking as beginners. But what they lacked in deep trail experience, they more than made up for with unbreakable mental strength and absolute grit. Every steep climb, every grueling kilometer—they faced it head-on without a single complaint.

Clocking in at 19 hours and 36 minutes, this also goes down as my longest dayhike on Gunung Rajah to date. Leading a team through such an epic, demanding push and watching them conquer it through sheer willpower is what guiding is all about.

Huge respect to the team for pushing boundaries and showing us what strong determination looks like! 🏔️✨

天公作美！ 尽管 KL 市区最近常下雨，但 Nuang 今天超给力！地上很干，全程没有烂泥！👍

最重要的是：Puncak Pengasih 去山顶的路段也干干的，走得超顺！🏃💨
