The Faculty of Sustainable Agriculture (or previously known as School of Sustainable Agriculture) was established on 4th May 2006 with the aim of training manpower in the fields of crop production, livestock production and horticulture and landscape who will assist in improving the agriculture sector of the country based on three main principles – Sustainability, Awareness and High Technology. Thi

s school will also play a role in developing and providing latest knowledge on agriculture through teaching and research. Through learning, research, innovation and extension of sustainable agriculture this school aspires to become a centre of learning in the field of agriculture.

The Horticulture and Landscape Program of the Faculty of Sustainable Agriculture (FSA) will be conducting the HoLa Arborista Course on 20-21 May 2021. This course aims to increase participants' knowledge on landscape tree maintenance and expose them to the Arboriculture and landscaping industry. The participants for the course will comprise 3rd-year students of the Horticulture and Landscaping program and staff of FSA. In addition to lecturers from FSA the course will also include input from various experts in related fields. The course will be conducted in a hybrid mode i.e. face -to -face and online platforms.
