A group of Diploma in Business Administration students from TAR UMT Johor Branch participated in the International Invention, Innovation and Design Competition 2026 (I3DC 2026) held on 27 April 2026 and was awarded the 🥉 Bronze Award for its project “WorkAbroad 3D Hub”, a 3D virtual platform connecting foreign employers with overseas job seekers by showcasing authentic working environments 🌐👩‍💻👨‍💻

Jom Lepak Camp · A Way Out 2026 was a blast! 🔥🎉

From escape room station games 🧩, scavenger hunts 🏃‍♂️, to water balloon battles 💦, every moment was filled with teamwork, laughter, and challenges. The campfire session 🔥 also brought everyone closer, creating unforgettable memories and new friendships.

Educational Visit to Free Tree Society, Bangsar 🌱🌿

The TAR UMT Johor Branch Student Representative Council (SRC) organised an educational visit to Free Tree Society, Bangsar on 18 April 2026, aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainable living.

Students participated in an introduction session, nursery tour, sustainability talk, and hands-on planting workshop, gaining valuable insights into biodiversity, composting, water conservation, and urban greenery initiatives. 🌍✨

The visit also allowed students to experience basic nursery care and take home free trees, encouraging continued green practices beyond the program. 🌳💚

A meaningful step towards strengthening environmental responsibility and appreciation for nature!

Lion Dance Training Intensive 🦁🥁✨

The TAR UMT Lion and Dragon Dance Society held intensive lion dance training sessions at Qing Yun Yan Temple throughout April 2026. With guidance from experienced external coaches, 13 dedicated students trained hard to improve their footwork, drumming rhythms, and routine synchronisation.

A meaningful effort to strengthen teamwork, promote sportsmanship, and keep our cultural heritage alive! 💪🔥🇲🇾

Dou House Business Project🧋✨

The DAQ Y2S3 students successfully conducted a business project titled Dou House from 3 March 2026 to 9 April 2026 at H017 Business Centre, TAR UMT. This project provided students with valuable real-world experience to apply their knowledge in business planning, daily operations, marketing, and customer service.

Through strong teamwork and commitment, the students ensured fresh ingredients, maintained good hygiene standards, and managed smooth operations throughout the project. Most importantly, the project also promoted social responsibility, as all income generated was donated to Persatuan Kebajikan Kasih Malaysia Berhad ❤️👏

Overall, Dou House achieved its objectives while strengthening students’ entrepreneurial mindset and preparing them for future business challenges.

Heart Fest Event 2026 💖🎉

Our Diploma in Business Administration Year 1 Semester 3 students successfully organised the Heart Fest Event on 11 April 2026 at Segamat Central Shopping Mall! 🏬✨

Filled with charity fundraising, fun activities, food stalls, singing & dancing performances 🎤💃, and even a basketball competition 🏀, the event was lively and meaningful.

A great experience to build leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility while supporting those in need ❤️🙌
