A throwback to Year 1 Project Week — five months on, still one of our favourite recaps.
Our first-year EEE students designed and built black-line-following robots from the ground up: IR sensors, motor drivers, an embedded controller, and plenty of late-night debugging. Some teams pushed past the brief with PID control for smoother turns and ultrasonic sensors for obstacle avoidance.
