I think many of us expect things that are too small and too big at the same time. Our expectations are simultaneously too small because we forget what God is capable of and too big because we expect too much of the person in front of us. We end up in an in-between phase where we are routinely disappointed, either by ourselves or by others. This becomes a spiral that repeats itself until it becomes almost mundane.

However, this mundane disappointment does not eat at us like one would expect. It is neither loud nor flashy and does not come with fanfare or smoke and whistles. It is found in the most routine things of survival such as cooking, cleaning, good mornings, and see you later. None of these are remotely interesting, yet they make up a huge portion of what life is, and indeed, seminary life. In that sense, memento vivere is neither just about living life with gusto nor is it entirely about the pauses in between. Then, to live well is, perhaps, to find contentment in the mundane repetition of day-to-day life. When we first step into the seminary, we are told ‘iron sharpens iron’. However, water wears down iron too, surely, and steadily like the routine of life wearing down our defences and reshaping our convictions.

This routine that reshapes my iron also belongs to the One who shaped existence itself thus, making even the smallest ordinary moment sacred. I found this sacredness sitting in the girl’s dorm pantry with a small bite to eat during warm, breezy afternoons, watching the trees sway. It is in that quiet I saw the extraordinary in the mundane and the mundane in the extraordinary.

The life I have had for the past four years was very good and I am excited for what comes next. Nonetheless, grief, excitement, anxiety, and joy sit together in this moment. I have encountered restoration and renewal as well as hurt and healing in STM. However, when I focus on what I have gained and look to the bigger picture, I am at peace knowing that God has made us stronger through Him than the total sum of our hurts. Truly, it is He who meets us in our brokenness and enables us to still cry out ‘to God be the glory.’

My theological studies at STM have been a journey of faith, learning, and God's grace. Balancing ministry, family, and studies was not always easy, but God faithfully strengthened and guided me through every challenge. This journey has deepened my love for His Word and confirmed that His purpose for my life cannot be stopped. I am grateful to God, my lecturers, family, and church for their support, and I look forward to serving Him more faithfully in the years ahead.

Today, my heart is filled with gratitude as I celebrate my graduation from seminary. This is not just the end of my studies but a testimony of God's faithfulness. Everything I have achieved is because of His grace and His guidance.

The journey was not easy. I had to balance my studies, ministry, and family life. There were many challenges along the way. There were times when I felt tired, faced financial difficulties, stayed up late to complete assignments, and wondered if I could continue. There were also moments when I felt I had failed in my responsibilities as a student, a husband, and a minister of God. Yet, in every season, God remained faithful. He gave me strength when I was weak, peace when I was worried, and hope when I wanted to give up. His grace was always enough for me.

My family has been one of God's greatest blessings in my life. My beloved Amma, Sarah, and Silas, your love, prayers, patience, and unwavering support gave me the courage to keep going. I could not have completed this journey without you. This graduation belongs to you as much as it belongs to me.

Today, I also remember someone very special—my late father, Mr. Simon Subramaniam. Seeing me stand here today was one of his greatest dreams. Although he is not here to witness this moment, I carry his love, prayers, and sacrifices in my heart. Appa, this is for you, Pa. I hope I have made you proud. I will always cherish your encouragement and the values you instilled in me.

I am deeply thankful to STM for giving me the opportunity to learn and grow. My sincere thanks to all my beloved lecturers and pastors who taught me with wisdom, patience, and love. Thank you for preparing me not only for ministry but also for life. I am also grateful to my friends and fellow seminarians. Thank you for your encouragement, prayers, friendship, and all the wonderful memories we shared. Walking this journey together made every challenge easier.

One thing I will never forget is the word God placed in my heart: "You are My anointed one." Those words have reminded me that my calling is not based on my own ability but on God's purpose and His grace. They continue to encourage me to trust Him and remain faithful to His calling.

Graduation is not the end of my journey. It is the beginning of a new chapter of serving God and His people. I move forward with faith, knowing that the God who has brought me this far will continue to lead me in the days ahead.

To God alone be all the glory, honour, and praise. Thank You, Lord, for turning every rough road into a beautiful destination. I pray that my life will always honour You and bring glory to Your name.

毕业感言——神学学习历程
黄俊民 (WONG CHUN MUN) | BTh

回顾神学学习的历程，我深深体会这是一条漫长却充满恩典的道路。上帝的带领常常超越人的计划，但祂的时间永远美好。

早在2002-2008年，我开始参与马来西亚神学院延伸课程，并修读文凭课程，经过六年的兼职学习完成 Diploma。当时盼望能尽快进入全时间服事，但因着个人软弱、家庭因素、环境变化及人生阶段的转折，神学学习暂时停顿。

其实，在信主三年后（1997年），我已领受上帝进入全时间服事的呼召。经过多年生命历练，直到2018年，我重新投入教会服事，并于2022年再次开始神学学位课程。

这一次学习的身份已经不同，我已是全时间牧者，需要一边牧养教会，一边兼顾学业。对于年过半百的我来说，这是很大的挑战。时间、体力和健康都成为考验，特别在2024年承担更多牧养责任时，身心几乎达到透支状态。感谢主的恩典托住，使我在2025年能够重新专注牧养一个堂会。

这几年神学装备带给我的，不只是知识上的成长，更是生命的塑造。在师生交流与同学彼此分享中，我看见上帝扩张我们的眼界，也更新我们的生命。

我特别感恩，每一次清晨驱车前往神学院时，八十多岁的老母亲和太太总是在凌晨摸黑起来为我预备和祷告，教会同工与弟兄姐妹也给予许多支持。虽然过程中也经历得不到体谅与不容易，一路走来，我深深经历上帝丰富的预备与恩典。

这段旅程无法用短短文字完全表达。我们的主认识我们，体恤我们的软弱，也知道如何装备祂的仆人。感谢神学院的栽培，愿所学都被主使用，在服事与生活中荣耀神、祝福他人。

一切荣耀归于神。阿们。

𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲

The journey of theological education has been a meaningful process of growing in faith, understanding, and commitment to Christian ministry. It has provided opportunities to study Scripture, explore Christian doctrine, reflect on the history of the Church and consider the responsibilities of serving God and His people. More than gaining academic knowledge, this journey has encouraged deeper spiritual formation and a greater awareness of God’s calling. Scripture has remained at the center of this formation. Through studying God’s Word, there has been a growing understanding of His character, His redemptive work and His purpose for His people. Psalm 119:105 declares, “Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path.” This verse reflects the importance of allowing Scripture to guide both theological understanding and practical ministry. As 2 Timothy 3:16–17 teaches, Scripture equips God’s people for faithful living and service. Theological study has also demonstrated that knowledge should lead to transformation. Romans 12:2 calls believers to be “transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

This transformation involves more than understanding theological concepts. It includes developing humility, spiritual maturity, integrity, compassion, and a willingness to serve others. Theology becomes meaningful when it shapes everyday life and ministry. The example of Jesus provides the foundation for Christian leadership and service. His ministry demonstrates that leadership is expressed through humility, sacrifice, compassion and love. Jesus teaches, “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant” (Matthew 20:26). This principle challenges Christian leaders to view ministry not as a position of status but as a responsibility to serve Christ and His people faithfully. Theological formation has also strengthened an understanding of the Church’s mission. Jesus’ command to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19) reminds the Church of its responsibility to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples. This calling requires faithfulness to Scripture while responding wisely and compassionately to the needs of people and communities.

The theological journey does not end with the completion of academic study. It continues through prayer, Scripture, worship, service and lifelong learning. As Philippians 1:6 reminds us, “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” The journey ahead is therefore approached with gratitude, humility and hope, trusting God to guide each step and use every lesson for His glory and the service of His Church.

நான் இந்து பின்னணியில் இருந்து வந்தவள். எனது திருமணத்தின் மூலமாக இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்து அவரை என் இரட்சகராக ஏற்றுக்கொண்டேன். அதன்பிறகு, கிறிஸ்தவ விசுவாசத்தைப் பற்றி அறிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும் என்ற வாஞ்சை எனக்குள் படிப்படியாக வளர ஆரம்பித்தது.

2018 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஒருநாள் சொப்பனத்தில் தேவன் என்னோடு பேசினார். மத்தேயு 16:26 இல் “மனுஷன் உலகம் முழுவதையும் ஆதாயப்படுத்திக் கொண்டாலும் தன் ஜீவனை நஷ்டப்படுத்தினால் அவனுக்கு லாபம் என்ன? என்ற வசனம் என் இருதயத்தில் ஆழமாகப் பதிந்தது. அந்த வசனத்தின் மூலம் உலக வாழ்க்கையில் மட்டும் கவனம் செலுத்தாமல், கர்த்தருக்காக என் வாழ்க்கையை அர்ப்பணித்து வாழவேண்டும் என்ற வைராக்கியம் எனக்குள் வந்தது.

அந்த அனுபவத்திற்குப் பிறகு, என் வாழ்க்கை முழுவதுமாக கர்த்தரிடம் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவேண்டும் என்ற தீர்மானத்திற்குள் வந்தேன். திருச்சபை சார்ந்த ஊழியங்களில் ஈடுபட்டதோடு மட்டுமல்லாமல், கர்த்தரை இன்னும் அறியாத மக்களிடையே சிறு சிறு ஊழியங்களைச் செய்துவந்தேன்.

2022 ஆம் ஆண்டு, ஊழியத்திற்குப் படிக்கவேண்டும் என்ற வாஞ்சை எனக்கு வந்து. உலகக் கல்வியைப் படித்துவிட்டோம்; இனி கிறிஸ்தவக் கல்வியையும் படிக்கவேண்டும் என்ற வாஞ்சை எனக்குள் வந்தது. அந்த வாஞ்சையின் காரணமாக 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டு STM இல் என் முதல் அடியை எடுத்து வைத்தேன்.

இங்கு, நான் கிறிஸ்தவ இறையியலை மட்டுமல்லாமல் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையை ஆழமாக அறிந்துகொள்வதையும், ஊழியத்தின் பொறுப்பையும், ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையின் முக்கியத்துவத்தையும் கற்றுக்கொள்ள ஆரம்பித்தேன். அன்பான போதகர்கள் மூலமாக நிறைய ஊழிய அனுபவங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டேன். அந்தப் பயணம் என் வாழ்க்கையிலும் என் ஊழியத்திலும் ஒரு புதிய அத்தியாயத்தைத் தொடங்கியது.

நான் தேவனுக்காகப் பிரித்தெடுக்கப்பட்டவள் என்பதை உணர்ந்தேன். மிகுந்த சவாலோடும் போராட்டத்தோடும் இந்தக் கிறிஸ்தவக் கல்வியைப் படித்து முடிக்க தேவன் கிருபை செய்தார். நான்கு வருடங்கள் மிக சீக்கிரமாக முடிந்தது. “அழைத்த தேவன் உண்மையுள்ளவர்” என்று எழுதப்பட்டதுபோல கர்த்தர்தாமே எல்லா சூழ்நிலைகளிலும் என்னோடு இருந்து இந்த “TAMIL TEE DIPLOMA COURSE” முடிப்பதற்கு உதவி செய்தார்.

தொடர்ந்து இந்த வேளையில் என் குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் என் போதகருக்கும், கற்றுக்கொடுத்த ஆசிரியர்களுக்கும் என் நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறேன். அவர்களுடைய ஜெபங்கள், கொடுத்த ஆதரவுகள் என்னைத் தாங்கியது.

என்னை அழைத்த தேவன் உண்மையுள்ளவர் என்ற நிச்சயத்தோடு, அவர் எனக்காக ஆரம்பித்ததைத் தொடர்ந்து நடத்துவார் என்ற நம்பிக்கையோடு என் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் அவருக்காக வாழ்ந்து உண்மையுடன் ஓடி எனக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்ட ஓட்டத்தை நிறைவு செய்ய விரும்புகிறேன். ஆமென்

Sebagai seorang pelajar memang rasa sangat bersyukur kepada Tuhan yang maha kuasa saya dapat menghabiskan kelas Diploma selama 2 tahun setengah dengan peyertaan Tuhan puji Tuhan semua berjalan dengan baik, meski pun agar susah jugak untuk saya habis kan namun saya percaya jika ketekunan yang di usahakan pasti akan berjaya di lakukan, ucapan terima kasih kepada semua Tenaga kerja cikgu kelas yang membantu mengajar kami dengan baik saya harap tidak melupakan jasa cikgu-cikgu yang mengajar saya dan semoga bukan setakat ini saja tapi agar sekolah Alkitab orang Asli dapat di kembangkan lebih jauh seperti mana sekolah-sekolah yang ada di Malaysia.

Seterusnya saya juga ingin mengucapakan ribuan terima kasih kepada pihak STM kerana menjadi menyokong kelas SAOA yang kini tertubuh nya di Gopeng sehingga ramai pada hari ini pelajar-pelajar yang baru untuk belajar menjadi seorang pemimpin bagi misi pelayanan Orang Asli di semenanjung, semoga akan ramai lagi anak muda yang menyertai Sekolah Alkitab Orang Asli di masa akan datang, tampa penyertaan Tuhan semua nya bukan untuk dicapai dalam segala hal yang mana pada hari ini lebih ramai lagi pemimpin di kalangan orang Asli diperlukan bagi misi pelayanan itu terbukti berkesan dengan baik.

Sekali lagi saya zambri ingin mengucapkan ribuan terima kepada semua yang terlibat dalam membangun sekolah Alkitab Orang Asli jasa anda semua tidak di balas sama-sama lah kita berdoa semoga gereja-gereja kita di Malaysia terus akan berkembang lebih jauh lagi semoga nama Tuhan dipermuliakan dibumi dan di Syurga, kepada rakan sekelas saya serta anak muda yang masih baru belajar didalam sekolah Alkitab dorongan saya berlajar lah bersungguh-sungguh sehigga ke menara gading demi untuk bangsa dan negara Malaysia yang kita cintai serta ucapan ini juga saya mengambil kesempatan kepada ibu-bapa kami yang menyokong setiap anak-anak yang belajar dalam sekolah ini jasa dan sokongan keluarga semua sangat-sangat saya hargai sampai bile-bile maju lah Sekolah Alkitab Orang Asli sekian terima kasih .

毕业感言
张珏（Zhang Jue ）| DipCM (TEE)

2014 年 9 月，曾思瀚博士的《启示录》打开了我的神学学习之旅，也是我有系统地进入神学的学习与探索的开始。在 2019 年以前的学习中，我深受张俊明博士、刘聪赐博士、曾庆豹博士、萧帝佑博士、张晓枫博士等老师的敦敦教诲，他们在不同神学课题上严谨的教导，帮助我更丰富和全面地认识基督信仰，这些学习也让我在思考与反思中，逐渐构建起对信仰坚固的框架。

就在我热烈而渴慕地寻求真道的时候，心里也满怀期盼能够与同学们一起完成学习，一起毕业。就在这个时候，一些意想不到的变故让我的神学学习嘎然终止。

2018 年 8 月底，我回到中国。后来，因一些特殊原因而被限制出境。2019 年年底，我又检查出身患癌症，癌细胞也已经发生转移。随后，又经历了中国新冠疫情期间的严格管控，一个接一个的变故，让我的神学学习渐渐变得遥不可及。那几年，曾经一起学习的同学都陆续毕业了，但我的神学学习似乎成了一个不能完成的旅程。那股曾经炽热的学习热情，也慢慢冷却下来。我站在学习旅程的半途中，开始没有了继续前行的动力。

感恩上帝的恩典与带领，2023 年，我终于重返马来西亚。由于癌症治疗需要长期服药，这让我的专注力和记忆力受到很大的影响。在我犹豫要不要重启神学的学习，把剩下的学习旅程继续走完的时候，邱君尓传道、燕婷姐妹给了我积极的鼓励和肯定。他们的鼓励和肯定帮助我克服了内心的软弱与退缩，虽然后续课程的听课、作业对于我的身体和精神都是一种挑战；虽然神学课程已经从线下变成了 Zoom线上学习；虽然一起学习的同学已变得陌生。然而，在吴慧芬博士、邱君尓传道、李慧仪传道、李丹萍博士和黄正雄传道精彩而丰富的神学课程中，再次点燃了我寻求真道的渴慕, 也重新唤醒了我对学习的热情。

感谢主，赐我力量，帮助我走完这段宝贵的神学学习旅程。回首这段神学学习旅程，有欢笑，也有眼泪；有收获，也有许多挑战。然而，每一次的艰难与挣扎，都成为上帝塑造生命、坚固信心的机会。祂不仅让我在神学学习中更加认识《圣经》与基督信仰，也让我在学习的过程中不断认识自己，也更深地认识那一位呼召我、爱我、并始终与我同行的主。

在这段漫长的学习旅程中，我特别感恩上帝赐给我的每一位老师、每一位同学，以及一路上给予我鼓励、代祷和支持的家人。你们的每一句鼓励、每一次为我献上的祷告，都成为我在这条追寻真理的路上继续前行的力量。毕业并不是学习的终点，而是我生命另一个阶段的启点。尽管未来的道路仍然充满未知，但我相信，带领我走到今天的上帝，也必继续引领我前面的道路。愿我不忘初心，忠心持守所领受的真道，活出基督的样式，成为主手中合用的器皿。愿我所学的神学知识能够祝福教会、帮助有需要的人，并把上帝的爱与福音带给更多人。无论未来面对怎样的处境，我都愿意继续跟随基督，忠心服事祂，荣耀祂，直到完成祂所托付的使命。

一切荣耀、颂赞和感恩，都归给爱我、拯救我、一路带领我的三一真神！阿们！
