Introducing our third and last member of the UPM BP 2026 adjudication core, Atifa.

Let's see what our tournament director has to say about her:

"Atifa is one of the most well decorated debaters I've seen, both in the Malaysian circuit and the international circuit. She also super helpful and patient as a person, accompany that with her adjudication experiences, you'll likely get a lot of good feedback from her to improve.

On a side note, she's never given me a win in rounds before, so if she gives you the win, good for you... happy for you... nice...

Introducing our second member of the UPM BP 2026 adjudication core, Shaanaav Daniel.

Let's see what OC has to say about him:

"Shaanaav is someone who still lives rent free in the minds of UPM debaters, even after graduating years ago. It's practically a universal truth that the debate club still exists because his impeccable face single handedly carried our club recruitments and left most men jealous.

Jokes aside, he's a charismatic debate ju**ie through and through. We might not know him very well, but he's either practicing for tournaments, or judging spars. The current UPM debaters have benefited a lot from his oral adjudications, where he breaks down the debate very clearly and provide great feedback that are easy to understand. If he ever judges your rounds, don't skip the OA and remember to ask for feedback, we're sure you're going to learn a lot on how to improve for future rounds. To us, he's not just an alumnus, he's the reason we keep debating in hopes to see judges like him in tournaments.

Introducing the first member of the UPM BP 2026 adjudication core, Muhyuddin Ahsan.

Lets see his fellow CAP member, Shaanaav Daniel has to say about him:

"Ahsan is a name that frequently came up whenever I used to talk to friends about the Malaysian debating circuit while studying abroad, and for good reason! His illustrious debating CV holds its own against some of the best debaters in the world, and (surprise!) I used to watch many of his recorded PM speeches to help improve on my own when I was just starting out.

With all that being said, Ahsan is probably one of the most interesting people I have met in the circuit. Super approachable, down-to-earth, and always willing to help you out with any and all things debate-related. He has the most nuanced and opinionated takes on films and pop culture, and I can vividly recall us dissecting the themes of multiple movies until the wee hours of the morning after NEADC break night. Pro tip: If he ever judges your round, do throw in a reference to Tarantino or an obscure 80s French movie, and you just might get some brownie points!"
