Turning Knowledge Into Action

Financial literacy isn’t just about numbers, it’s about making better decisions in everyday life.

SBE UPM participated in the Program Pengembangan Keusahawanan Agropreneur ITEKAD Kawasan Kuala Lumpur, Siri 2, with participants from the Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB).

Led by Prof. Dr. Law Siong Hook and Prof. Dr. Mohamad Fazli Sabri, the sessions explored inflation, OPR, cost of living, saving, borrowing and financial decision-making.

The best part? Plenty of questions, conversations and real-life perspectives were shared throughout the session.

Our appreciation to MAB and all organisers for making this engagement possible.

Connecting Alumni Experience with Industry Opportunities

SBE UPM recently paid a courtesy visit to the Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA), where we had the opportunity to meet Mr. Esa Rahimin, Director of the Replanting and Plantation Division and an MBA alumnus of SBE UPM.

The visit provided an opportunity to reconnect with our alumnus and gain insights into his professional journey and experience in the industry. It also opened in-depth discussions on potential collaboration between SBE and RISDA. A brief interview was also conducted as part of the SBE Alumni Newsletter.

SBE sincerely appreciates Mr. Esa Rahimin and the RISDA team for their warm hospitality and meaningful engagement. Through meaningful alumni and industry connections, SBE UPM continues to create opportunities that connect our students, alumni and industry partners, while strengthening pathways for future talent.
