Thursday, 5th December 2024:
The Faculty of Business and Management (FBM) proudly hosted a successful soft launch and forum at FBM Regional Centre for Executive and Professional Education. FBM Regional Centre for Executive and Professional Education was officiated by Professor Dr. Mile Vasic [President of European Marketing and Management Association (EUMMAS), who is also an Adjunct Professor in FBM]. The event was graced by esteemed management team from FBM including Tuan Syed Ashrene Bin Syed Omar (Deputy Dean of Student Affairs), Associate Professor Dr. Keshminder Singh Jit Singh (Head, Department of Postgraduate and Professional Studies), and Ts. Dr. Ahmad Rais Bin Mohamad Mokhtar (Head, Department of Technology and Supply Chain Management Studies, who is also the Director of ASEAN Regional Centre for EUMMAS).
The forum on “Leadership in the New Era: Navigating AI, Flexibility, and Multigenerational Teams” lined up three distinguished panellists namely Professor Dr. Mile Vasic, Dr. Wafi Nazrin Bin Dr. Abdul Hamid (Former Chairman of TalentCorp Malaysia Berhad), and Ms. Monique Yong (Group Chief Human Resource Officer for Columbia Asia Group of Companies, who is also CMI Malaysia Regional Board Member).
The forum was designed to ignite conversations about the future of leadership in this fast-paced, tech-driven environment which highlighted the importance of adapting to AI advancements, embracing workplace flexibility, and effectively managing multigenerational teams. The panellists concluded with fruitful and insightful discussions on the evolving landscape of leadership through an engaging Q&A session.

Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 (UNTAG)'s 3-day visit to Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) was a meaningful exchange of culture and knowledge. They toured the campus, participated in a joint symposium on sustainable management, and shared insights through student presentations. The visit ended with a cultural exchange and closing ceremony, fostering friendships and future collaboration between both universities.

🌟 FBM Postgrad Kickstart: Connect and Conquer! 🎓

26th & 27th October 2024, a fulfilling two-day programme held in Institute of Leadership and Development (ILD), UiTM Bandar Enstek. The inaugural programme was officiated by the Dean of Faculty of Business and Management (FBM), Prof. Dr. Firdaus Abdullah with the presence of Head of Department of Postgraduate and Professional Studies (DPPS) FBM, Associate Professor Dr. Keshminder Singh Jit Singh, along with DPPS, and Postgraduate Student Association (PSA) team members.

Newly enrolled FBM postgraduate students were warmly welcomed and immersed into dynamic workshops, impactful networking opportunities, and skill-team building sessions tailored to prepare for their exciting academic journey ahead. Together, we delved into UiTM extensive learning resources and support system, motivation, and growth. All towards laying a strong foundation for a thriving and successful postgraduate experience in FBM UiTM! 🚀✨🎓💯
