We are pleased to invite you to submit your original research to the 7th Malaysia-Japan International Conference on Nanoscience, Nanotechnology, and Nanoengineering (MJIC 2026), to be held from 23 to 25 January 2026 in Hotel Royale Chulan Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.

MJIC 2026 is an internationally recognized platform bringing together researchers, academics, and professionals from around the world to exchange the latest insights in nanoscience, nanotechnology, and nanoengineering.

The Institute of Science has proudly hosted the 7th International Conference on Chemistry and Material Science (IC2MS2025) on 19–20 August 2025 at the Institute of Business Excellence (IBE), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam.

Carrying the theme “Bridging Disciplines, Advancing Innovations for a Sustainable Future,” this annual conference brought together researchers, academicians, and industry experts to exchange knowledge, share groundbreaking research, and explore impactful innovations in chemistry and material science.

Now in its 7th edition, IC2MS continues to be a dynamic platform for collaboration, inspiring new ideas, and driving scientific advancements for a brighter future. This year’s conference successfully strengthened academic and industry linkages, opened doors for joint research opportunities, and sparked meaningful discussions on global solutions.

Penganugerahan ini merupakan pengiktirafan atas jasa, sumbangan, dan kepimpinan beliau yang telah membawa kemajuan dalam bidang penyelidikan serta mengharumkan nama UiTM di persada antarabangsa.

The Institute of Science, UiTM, together with the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Indonesia, successfully organized a seminar titled “Enhancing Organic Synthesis Ties in Pharmaceutical and Herbal Research” on 18th August 2025.

The seminar featured distinguished speakers Dr. Haryoto, M.Sc. and Dr. apt. Andi Suhendi, M.Sc., who shared valuable insights on bridging the gap between modern pharmaceutical research and traditional herbal studies. Their discussions highlighted the innovative role of organic synthesis in creating stronger connections between these two fields, paving the way for future advancements in medicine and healthcare.

The session gave participants fresh knowledge and also built stronger academic ties between UiTM and Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, encouraging future collaborations in scientific research.

The Institute of Science, UiTM, in collaboration with Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia, successfully organized the STEM Programme – Bringing Science Closer to Students at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seksyen 16, Shah Alam, on 18th August 2025.

This programme was designed to spark students’ interest in science and technology, while also opening their eyes to the exciting career paths in these fields.

Students had the opportunity to explore hands-on science experiments, test their knowledge in a fun science quiz, and participate in various interactive activities that made learning both exciting and enjoyable.

By bringing science closer to students, we hope to ignite curiosity, inspire creativity, and guide them to see the endless opportunities in science and technology, all while having fun along the way.
