Plot twist: the classroom has been replaced by the actual construction industry. 😭🏗️

Our Semester 7 CM students are officially out there undergoing their Industrial Training — putting all those lectures, assignments, drawings, calculations and “nanti kerja you akan guna ni” moments to the test. 👷🏻‍♀️👷🏻‍♂️✨

From “Sir/Madam, macam mana nak buat ni?”
to
“Okay boss, noted.” 😭😂

Site visits. Meetings. Reports. Early mornings. Safety boots. New experiences. And probably a LOT of learning on the go. 📋🦺

This is where student mode slowly turns into industry mode. 🔓✨

Learn as much as you can. Ask questions. Make connections. Get your hands dirty (figuratively… or literally 😂) and enjoy the experience.

Welcome to our new Intake 20264 students of

Our CM New Students Meet-Up was basically your first little survival guide to life as a CM student. 😎

We started with some words of wisdom and amanat from our Undergraduate Coordinator (Construction Management), Ts Dr Shaza Rina binti Sahamir ❤️

New semester, new timetable, new deadlines… and probably the same old promise: “This semester I won’t procrastinate.” 😂

Time to put on your imaginary hard hats and get ready to plan, build, manage, learn, survive and thrive! 💪📚

Every semester, CMA493 has one assignment that doesn't happen in a classroom. ❤️🏗️🎨

Instead, our students head out into the community to plan and execute a 6-hour CSR project—where the real test isn't just getting the job done, but learning how to work with people.

From planning and organising...
Finding resources...
Managing time...
Solving unexpected problems...
To making sure the project is completed successfully.

This semester, the mission brought us to MITS Klang, where the team transformed four prep rooms (2 Aspura & 2 Aspuri) into brighter, more welcoming spaces for the students.

The best part?

Some of our students had never painted a wall before. 🤭
Their first time holding a paintbrush.
Their first time using a roller.
A few accidental paint splashes later... they became quite the painting crew. 😂🎨

It's never really about painting walls.

It's about learning to communicate, lead, adapt, support one another, and leave a place better than how you found it.

May these rooms be filled with the recitation of the Quran, meaningful discussions, countless hours of learning, and barakah for everyone who steps inside. 🤲✨

Sometimes, the best lessons aren't found in lecture notes—they're found in serving others. ❤️

And that's a wrap for our Semester 2 students! 💙🏗️

Today marks the final test for CMA443: Legal Studies in Construction. Throughout the semester, our students have explored the legal principles that form the foundation of the construction industry—from sources of law and contract formation to tort, land law, and the legal responsibilities of construction professionals.

This final assessment is more than just a test of memory. It is an opportunity for our future construction managers to demonstrate their ability to apply legal knowledge to real-world construction scenarios and make informed professional decisions.

To all our Semester 2 students, thank you for your commitment, resilience, and hard work throughout the semester. We hope all the effort you have invested pays off today. Stay calm, read every question carefully, manage your time wisely, and give it your best.

🎤🏗️ PED 2026: What. A. Journey. 🌿✨

The stage is finally quiet... but what an incredible few days it has been!

60 groups. One vision. Countless hours of hard work.

Our final-year Construction Management students poured their heart, soul, creativity, and determination into presenting their proposals for the Eco Sanctuary Development Project. From planning and procurement to design, sustainability, technology, finance, and project ex*****on, every team stepped onto the stage ready to convince the "client" that their proposal deserved to be selected.

Everyone came looking sharp, confident, and absolutely full of fire. 🔥
..and somehow, the fire mysteriously disappeared the moment the presentations ended. 😮‍💨😂

Behind every polished presentation were late nights, endless discussions, last-minute revisions, coffee-fuelled brainstorming sessions, and teammates pushing one another to do better. The result? Sixty amazing projects that showcased not only technical knowledge but also teamwork, professionalism, and passion.

A huge congratulations to the 14 groups whose proposals were selected as the winning projects! 🏆👏 Your hard work truly stood out.

And to every single final-year student—congratulations. Whether your project was selected or not, you should be incredibly proud of what you've achieved. Standing in front of the panel, defending your ideas, and completing your PED presentation is already a milestone worth celebrating.

Here's to the future Construction Managers who are ready to shape tomorrow's built environment. We're proud of every one of you. 💙🏗️

📏📐 Measurement & Estimating | Final Test 🧮🏗️

Three hours.

One calculator. One ruler. Endless quantities... and a whole lot of "Did I miss an item?" 😂

Our Measurement & Estimating students officially conquered their 3-hour final test, where every mark depended on careful calculations, accurate measurements, and nerves of steel.

There were plenty of double-checking, erasing, recalculating, and the classic "My answer doesn't match my friend... but we can't talk anyway!" moments. 🤭

By the end of the exam, the only thing heavier than the answer scripts was everyone's brain. 🫠

Congratulations to all our future Construction Managers for making it through this gruelling final assessment! Your hard work, patience, and attention to detail have brought you one step closer to the finish line.

Now it's time to put down the scale ruler, close the calculator, and enjoy that well-deserved break. You've earned it! 🎉💙

🎤 PED Behind the Scenes: D-Day

The day had finally arrived.

Everyone walked in looking sharp, confident, and ready to conquer the room. 🔥✨

The suits were pressed. The presentations were polished. The smiles were confident...
..even though everyone's heart rate was probably around 180 bpm. 😂

One by one, teams stepped forward to pitch their vision for the Eco Sanctuary Development Project, answering challenging questions, defending their ideas, and proving just how much they had grown throughout their final year.

And then...

The presentation ended.

Suddenly, all the adrenaline disappeared, everyone let out the biggest sigh of relief, and the only thing left was...

"Guys... where are we going to eat?" 🍔🤣

From preparation to sleepless nights and finally the big day—what an unforgettable journey. We're incredibly proud of every single one of you. 💙🏗️

🌙 PED Behind the Scenes: The Sleepless Nights

Sleep?

Never heard of her. 😭😂

As PED got closer, caffeine became a food group, group chats became active at 2.00 a.m., and "I'll sleep after this one last edit" somehow turned into sunrise. ☕💻

There were last-minute changes, endless rehearsals, forgotten slide numbers, and at least one teammate saying...

"Guys... I have an idea." 🫣
..five minutes before everyone was supposed to sleep.

It wasn't always easy, but every sacrifice, every revision, and every extra hour showed just how much each team cared about their project.

The dark circles were temporary...
..but the memories (and the screenshots from late-night meetings) are forever. 🤍😂
